The farmhouse offers lots of character exposed oak beams and a warm welcome from Jackie and Roger and the free range chickens are happy to lay eggs for breakfast. The farm is set in lovely countryside with good walks along many footpaths and country lanes with lots of wildlife. The Georgian market town of Holt is just 10 minutes by car where you will find good eating places. Two pubs close by offer excellent food. 15 minutes by car will take you to Blakeney Coastal Nature Reserve, Pensthorpe wildlife reserve, 20 minutes to the Norfolk Broads and the fine city of Norwich.

Roper Farm, Briston, Melton Constable, Norfolk, NR24 2BD
From Fakenham, take A148 Cromer Road for about 7 miles and turn right to Melton Constable drive from Melton for 1 mile. Stracey pub on the left 200 yards past pub turn right into Tithe Barn Lane and follow road for 1 mile do not take any turns off road, farm is on right turn in drive to house.
From Norwich, turn left past the airport to Holt. Drive for 12 miles to Saxthorpe turn left near Garage to Melton Constable, 2 miles from Saxthorpe take 4th turn left [signpost] by road to Briston, farm 500 yards on the left.
